Wow, November is packed full of events! Do you find it hard to keep track of all the goings-on at Beall? Check out the new printable Google Calendar posted on the Beall PTA website - you can even copy activities to your own Google Calendar with just the click of a mouse. The Google Calendar includes all Beall ES, Beall PTA, and after-school activities, and replaces the "Fridge Notes" of years past.

Don't worry, the Events page is still there too, with all the details for each activity, as is the After School Activities page - which is being constantly updated as we receive the new winter schedule info.

Looking to learn more about Curriculum 2.0? Come to Beall Elementary's all purpose room for Math Information Night from 7-8 pm, to understand what and how your child is learning Curriculum 2.0 math through an interactive presentation.

Beall's Book Fair

Please join us for our annual Book Fair to encourage literacy, support teachers and the PTA. The "Book Store" will be open on November 11 - 13. On Monday and Tuesday is open from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm and on Wednesday from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. We will take cash, checks made out to Beall PTA and credit cards.
Please also check out the Wish List binder from our classroom teachers!

Dine Out Night at California Tortilla and Ben & Jerry's

Want to show your Beall Elementary spirit? Just order some darn tasty food between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on November 14, 2013. Say “Dragons” or bring in your flyer, and California Tortilla will donate 25% of your check total to the Beall PTA. So bring your family and friends, fill up on great food, and help support a great cause! 

RM Cluster Testimonial to the Board of Education

Do you want a new elementary school???

Beall ES is 150 seats over capacity!!! We have six lunches, six recess periods, art on a cart and more students coming in next year! We need a new ES for our Richard Montgomery Cluster! What can YOU do??? Show up! We will be testifying on behalf of the RM Cluster for a timely construction of a new RMES#5 and to complete a safe and comfortable addition for an improved Julius West Middle School. Please come to this MCPS’s Board of Education Public Hearing next Thursday evening to support a new school for our RM Cluster.

Bring 8x11 signs saying "RMES#5" and wear blue.

Dragon Disco

There is no place cooler than the Dragon Disco in Rockville! It's the loudest, funnest and hippest party! Join us for dancing and music with MC Angel and Angel's Party People! Tickets will be sold at the door. $7 per Beall PTA family and $10 per non-members. Vendors will be selling pizza and the 4th grade team will be selling bottle water for to help fundraise for their spring field trips.

There is no drop off, you must stay with your children.

Our incredible Coordinator is the famous Mrs. DeVriendt, Proud Mom of a 4th grade Dragon and a Third Grade teacher : ) This team needs your help to make this a successful event, so please go see the online volunteer signup at
