How are we doing?
In order for the PTA Board to do a better job serving our Dragon community, please take less than 5 minutes to answer the following questions. We greatly appreciate your feedback! Names of responders will be kept confidential but you may check below if you want to have your responses displayed on the website or not. By filling out a survey, your name will be entered to win a drawing for a $25 gift certificate to Mamma Lucia. Last day to respond and be entered into the raffle is January 15, 2013.
The PTA has provided services such as communications (such as Dragon Dateline Newsletter, Fridge Notes, the listserv & eblasts), workshops (such as Race to Nowhere, Sexuality communications), community events (such picnics, Dragon Men workshops, dance/sock hop), support the school's staff (gifts, social/food events, Staff Appreciation Week and financial reimbursements for classroom related supplies), raise funds for the school to cover for items that MCPS do not have money to pay for (Mixed Bags, Dine Out and Book Fair) and many other important events and issues such as advocacy with the Board of Education, hold a Science Expo, maintain the Butterfly Garden, create a school directory and yearbook, coordinate after school classes (Legos, Mad Science, sports), etc. We want to know what you think is worthwhile and important.

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a la escuela, por el PTA de 2017-2018!
Hacerse miembro del PTA (Associación de Padres y Maestros) de Beall es una gran manera de conocer a nuestra escuela y para conectarse con otros padres. Tenemos un grupo de miembros activos y dedicados, y esperamos incuirles todos Uds. este año.
El PTA de Beall ha planeado muchos gran eventos durante 2016-2017, que incluyen el Disco Dragón, la Noche Internaciónal, la Feria de Ciencia, y nuestro partido anual entre los empleados y los padres. El PTA de Beall también contribuye fondos para asambleas de artes curturales, y provea apoyo fiscal para suministros y entranamiento para maestros y otras actividades. Busquen más información de programas extracurriculares y eventos otoños en los papeles que les enviaremos a casa en correo de mochila durante las próximas semanas.
Hacerse miembro del PTA es la mejor manera de apoyar a nuestra escuela. 100% de los fondos recaudados se usan directamente para las actividades de nuestros hijos. En los años recientes, hemos recaudado fondos para un nuevo patio de jugar, para proyectores de LCD para usar con los Smartboards en los salones, y para el entrenamiento de los maestros en el programa Junior Great Books. Miembros del PTA reciben un directorio de los alumnos de la escuela que incluye informacion de contacto. Esta información es útil para planear citas de jugar, para obtener las notas y tareas de sus hijos cuando faltan a la escuela, o para correspondencia.
Las juntas del PTA ocurren una vez cada mes, de 7-8 PM en punto. Se proveera cuidado de niños gratis para los alumnos de Beall. Puede obtener el calendario de las fechas en el internet: www.beallpta.org. Nuestra primera sesión estará en el 3 de octobre. ¡Esperamos verle!
