May is Read-a-thon month at Beall!  

The Read-a-thon is a way to help our students become better readers and have fun doing it.  From May 13 - 27, students will log the number of minutes they spend reading per week and have their logs initialed by a parent.  Those logs will be collected weekly and minutes submitted for a contest to win fun prizes, including pizza parties, Beall t-shirts, and even a Kindle Fire!  In addition, school wide numbers could persuade some Beall staff members to perform some embarrassing stunts at our end-of-the-year picnic.  Stay tuned for details!

Expect more information in backpack mail next week and be prepared to cheer on your little reader!

Bring your dinner and a blanket! Come celebrate the great year that we had with the entire school! We will have music provided by DJ Angel and Friends! Carmen will be selling their goodies! Global Children Center and i9sports will provide activities.
