January Wrap Up and Accolades
Our most profitable Dine Out night ever was had at Chipotle on January 14th, netting over $1100! A huge round of applause to Beth Wisneski and the rest of the Dine Out team – and major thanks to all the parents and kids who braved the loco line!
Other FUNdraising efforts included our first Dawson's Market 5% Back day on January 19th.
Another fantastic Science Expo is complete, thanks to the tireless efforts of Kay Newhouse! Our deepest gratitude to Kay for all of her hard work organizing this student favorite! And let’s not forget all the fantastic scientists who came out to visit and talk with our budding young inventors and researchers.

After School Programs
The Spring schedule is out! We have lots of fantastic after-school activities for actors, artists, chess players, dancers, scientists, sports stars and more! PTA Officer Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities
Beall is always happy to have Lunch and Recess volunteers! Come every day, or just drop in when you can, just don’t forget to sign in at the front office!
Lisa Carlo, the Health Room tech, needs volunteers between the hours of 9:15 am - 2:30 pm on February 19, 20, and 21 for the hearing and vision testing. It is to help with escorting the kids to and from the testing site. Please contact Lisa_M_Carlo@mcpsmd.org or Gina_M_Gill@mcpsmd.org if you are able to assist.

County Council CIP Hearing - RM Cluster Testimony
RM Cluster is testifying at the County Council on Feb 6 at 7 pm. This affects the MCPS budget for the years 2015-2020. Please come if you are planning for your children to attend MCPS schools in those years!!!

Carver Education Center - Parking Lot in Rockville, MD
PTA Night in Annapolis is February 13. Get on the bus and come with us!!! It's your chance to improve public education. WHY??? The budget shortfall of about $700 million is supposed to come from the State. We need to get all the state legislators on our side!!! THAT IS WHERE YOU COME IN! We can't do it without you showing up in Annapolis on Feb 13. Just for a few hours!
