Get ready for our Spring Dragon Men get-together, scheduled for Wednesday, April 27th, at 6pm at VisArts in the Rockville Town Square.  Dragon Men (dads, stepdads, granddads, uncles, and other male role models, ...) - bring your little Dragons to VisArts to paint a project for Mothers Day.  Click here for our event flyer to see more details and mark your calendars today!

Volunteers Needed for Kindergarten Orientation, May 5-6

Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for May 5 & 6 this year!  

On behalf of the Beall staff and Kindergarten team, we are forwarding along this SignUp Genius, seeking volunteers to help with the Kindergarten Orientation.  

Thanks to those who have signed up so far - we still have a few more slots to fill.  Please take a look at the slots available and sign up for one that works for you. 

Staff Appreciation Week: May 2-6

Staff Appreciation Week is coming up quickly, scheduled for May 2-6!  Click here for our flyer that includes suggested activities for each day of SAW -- choose one or more that works for you and involve your kids!  It's lots of fun and very much appreciated by our school's teachers and staff!

Click here to sign up to volunteer to help in a variety of ways for the SAW Appreciation Luncheon.  Please sign up to volunteer however you can and plan to participate in the various suggested SAW activities.  ALL of these are ways you and your children can get involved and help us communicate a huge and thoughtful thank you to all of our teachers and staff who make Beall such a special place.

Box Top Contest Winners!

Congratulations to the entire Beall Community!  Your clipping efforts paid off big time!  The numbers are in, and we are pleased to report that the Box Tops and Labels for Education collection initiative was a success. We collected more than 13,000 Box Tops and Labels for Education certificates that will bring over $1,300.00 to the school.  Classes that collected the most box tops/labels are:  

First place, with over 2500 box tops/labels:        Mrs. DeVriendt   ($100 prize!)
Second place, with over 2200 box tops/labels:    Ms. Lee              ($75 prize!)
Third place, with almost 1,000 box tops/labels:   Mrs. Hessler        ($50 prize!)

Thank you to our Box Tops Coordinator, Rob Ritter, and to those who volunteered to help him trim, sort and count box tops/labels to secure the $1,300.00 for our school.
