Multicultural Night!

For over a decade, the Beall PTA has sponsored Multicultural Night to celebrate our wonderfully diverse community.  Due to the incredible amount of time and energy required, Multicultural Night occurs only every other year and FRIDAY, February 23, 2018 is the day! This exceptional event includes musical performances and other cultural exhibits.

On Multicultural Night, dozens of Beall families (students and staff) set up displays about their cultures, countries of origin or regions. These displays often include examples of native foods, pictures, posters, family heirlooms, clothing, and other significant artifacts. Family members take turns to stay with their exhibit to answer questions and talk about their culture, while others roam around to enjoy learning about other cultures. It is a terrific, fun and delicious evening! But we need your help in making it happen!!!

Sign up to share your culture with all of us! We cannot do this event without YOU!

Box Tops collection has started

Welcome Back!  We are starting off the New Year with our annual Box Top drive.  This year, the contest will run through Friday, February 2nd and the top three classes will receive prizes.  Did you know that each Box Top has a value of ten cents?  That means fifty Box Tops equals $5 for the school!  Additional information and participating items can be located at btfe.com.  There is also a new Box Top app that can be used to earn extra money for our school.  These points can be included in the contest by sending in a screenshot from the app, or emailing a screen shot to Katherinemccaffrey@beallpta.org.
Here you can download the contest flyer and Box Top collection sheet .
We will also need LOTS of hands to help with counting the Box Tops after the drive ends.  If you are interested in helping with that effort, please also contact Katherine!
Happy clipping!

Science Expo, January 25th 2018

Have you heard about the Beall PTA Science ExpoScheduled for Thursday, January 25, 2018 (snow date Tuesday, January 30), it's going to be an AWESOME EXPLOSION of SCIENCE!

Here’s how it works. The Beall gym gets turned over to our little Beall science enthusiasts for an evening of fun: each student who chooses to do a project (and who signs up ahead of time!) gets an assigned space with room for a display board about some bit of SCIENCE that kid has done at home -- an experiment or exploration of a science phenomenon -- and everybody walks around to see the projects and share the awesome science stuff. You can expect magnets, sound waves, electricity, snow, plants, and lots of other super COOL stuff. Projects are not graded or judged, just shared with joy & enthusiasm.

Any Beall student who wants to can do a project, and everyone is invited to come to the Expo to see their work!

To register, and for more information, go to www.BeallPTA.org/SciExpo
