As teachers and the varsity basketball coaches at Richard Montgomery High School, we would like to connect with our school's future players and fans. The girls and boys basketball programs are hosting a tournament on October 30th for Beall students.
This event will match interested Beall girls and boys with a high school basketball player for preparation to play in a basketball clinic and tournament. This event is planned to take place at Richard Montgomery on Thursday, October 30th from 6:30-8:00. Registration is through parental email to Mr. Breslaw <firstname.lastname@example.org>. Once a parent emails Mr. Breslaw, he will respond with a parent permission slip and confirmation that their child is registered. The tournament will have a limited availability of about 60 of your students who will be included on a first come, first served basis. Participation will be completely free of charge. The event will be supervised by myself, the girls varsity head coach and our assistant coaches who are all teachers in MCPS.
JWMS students are scheduled for November 6th.

Artsonia for Kids' Art
Mrs. Edlind, Beall's Art Teacher, will be sending out permission slips to parents who have not signed up for Artsonia next week. Artsonia is an optional program in which you can view your child's artwork online <www.artsonia.com >as well as see work from other students at Beall. Directions on how to sign up are directly on the website or send the slip back to Mrs. Edlind with your email address clearly written on it. She will enter your child as having been granted permission to be a part of Artsonia. Students can write statements about their work and friends and family can also add their comments and encouragement to the young artists. The gift store will show you how you can see your child's art on items for sale such as cards, mugs, and t-shirts. 20% of the proceeds goes back to Beall's art program for special art supplies. Anyone interested in helping photograph artwork or volunteer in the classrooms should contact Mrs. Edlind <Elizabeth_Edlind@mcpsmd.org>.
